Subscription & terms
SpamFilter is operated under the name ספאם פילטר (SpamFilter). Contact: spamfilterapp@gmail.com.
The app is licensed under Apple's Standard EULA. These service disclosures explain the current features and subscription; they do not replace that license or mandatory consumer rights.
Subscription
The download is free. Filtering requires the annual auto-renewable subscription. Apple displays the applicable local price before confirmation. The owner configured ILS 14.90 annually for Israel; other countries have localized prices. Apple determines eligibility for the one-month free introductory trial. Existing or returning subscribers may be ineligible. Installing the app alone does not start a subscription.
When you approve the subscription through Apple, the trial converts to the paid annual subscription and subsequent annual periods renew automatically unless cancelled under Apple's purchase terms. To avoid the charge after the trial, Apple advises cancelling at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Review the renewal date and applicable cancellation terms shown by Apple; local consumer rights remain applicable. Manage or cancel in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or use Manage subscription in SpamFilter. Deleting the app or resetting rules does not cancel a subscription. Refund requests are handled through Apple, subject to applicable rights and Apple's assessment.
Restore Purchases uses the Apple Account that owns the purchase. SpamFilter never asks for card details or your Apple password. It does not create a separate user account. Family Sharing is not promised by these terms.
Filtering and access
Enable SpamFilter in the iPhone's message-filter settings. iOS decides which messages the extension can inspect; iMessage and messages from saved contacts are outside this filtering scope. Matching rules can classify legitimate messages incorrectly or miss unwanted messages. Review the Messages app's filtered folders and adjust your rules. No filter can guarantee complete detection or protection against fraud.
Filtering is local. Verified subscription access is saved on-device until its verified expiration. When local access is unavailable or expired, the filtering component attempts to verify current access through Apple StoreKit without sending message content or sender details. It can keep verified access in process memory until its actual expiration. The app also attempts background verification when iOS permits it. If access has not refreshed after renewal, open SpamFilter with an internet connection. Continuous renewal refresh while the app remains unopened is not guaranteed. If verification cannot finish in time, messages are delivered normally and saved rules remain.
If access expires, filtering stops and messages are delivered normally by iOS. Your rules are retained. Disabling automatic renewal retains access until the verified period ends. Apple purchase verification, restore and management may require internet access.
The inline checker previews active message-content rules; it does not send an SMS or reproduce sender-based matching. The app does not display an iPhone inbox or individual filtered messages.
Privacy and support
See the privacy policy for data handling. For support, email spamfilterapp@gmail.com with your iOS version, app version and a description of the problem. Do not send private SMS, payment details, passwords or verification codes. Material changes to the service and these disclosures will be reflected in the applicable release; mandatory legal rights remain unaffected.
